Uttar Pradesh UP NEET Counselling 2018, organized by the Directorate General of Medical Education and Training under the State Government, has begun. Candidates can start applying for various government, private and dental colleges through the application process explained below. UP NEET Counselling 2018 Important Dates
The counselling of UP Neet 2018 is done through online process. All the eligible candidates who are going to participate in UP MBBS/BDS counselling 2018 are required to pay the registration fee, i.e. Rs.1000/-. The authority will publish the merit list containing the names on all the selected students on 25th June, 2018. These students can go for the first online counselling which is to be held from 2nd July, 2018 to 4th July, 2018.

In all medical as well as dental colleges, there will be some seats alloted to the reserved categories as per the Government regulations. The percentages of this distribution are:-

|Wards of Freedom Fighters||02%|
|NCC Certificate Holders||01%|
For the convenience of students, we have provided the step by step procedure of the counselling process. This year, the online counselling would be conducted by National Informatics Center (NIC), Lucknow.
After the examination, the counselling authority publishes the Neet 2018 merit list along with the result. After this, selected candidates are allowed to participate in the counselling process. For that, all the eligible candidates would have to register themselves on the official website by filling up the form and paying the prescribed fee.
Every registered candidate would be given an unique registration number and password. Using these, they will have to choice available colleges according to their priority and preferences.
On the basis of the marks scored and rank secured along with their preferences, seats would be alloted to the students. Candidates will be able to check the status of the seat allotment on the official website.
Reporting to Allotted Colleges
After this, candidates are advised to report to the allotted college with seat allotment letter before the last date of the admission. After getting their documents verified and submission of admission fee, the seats will be confirmed.
Along with the seat allotment letter, students are supposed to bring all the mentioned documents at the time of reporting to the alloted college. If a candidate fails to submit any of these documents, his/her admission will be immediately cancelled.
