Application Fee

For the position of Sub Inspector, the application fee for candidates are Rs, 1000 and Rs. 500 according to their categories. While, the candidates who are interested in the position of Constable the application fee are Rs. 800 and Rs. 400 for different categories.

Eligibility Criteria

There are certain criteria which are necessary to be fulfilled by all the candidates.

TS Constable

  • Age Limit: For post Code No 21 to 25, the minimum age is to be 18 years and the maximum age is 25 years. For Post Code No. 26, 27 & 28, the minimum age is 18 years old whereas the maximum age is 30 years.
  • Educational Qualification: A candidate must have passed 10+2 standard or equivalent examination from a recognized board. Candidates belonging from SC/ST must have passed SSC and should have studied Intermediate and appeared for the Intermediate Examination in both 1st year and 2nd year.

Sub Inspector

  • Age Limit: For this particular post, the minimum age is 18 years of age with the maximum age of 25 years.
  • Educational Qualification:- Candidates must possess the degree of Indian University, established or incorporated by/or/under a Central Act, Provisional Act of State Or of any Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission.

Telangana Constable and Sub Inspector Selection Procedure

For these job positions, students have to go through several levels of tests. Firstly, students would have clear the Preliminary Written Test (PWT) which will make them eligible for Physical Measurements Test (PMT) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET). In these tests, candidate’s physical strength would be taken into consideration. Candidates who would go forward will face Final Written Examination (FWE) in which questions from various subjects would be asked. The final selection would be made after conducting all the mentioned exams. In particular cases, preference would be given to merit among Candidates who secure the same marks.

NOTE:- The difference between TS Constable Selection and TS Sub Inspector Selection is that in TS Constable, weightage marks are always taken into account. Whereas, for the post of Sub Inspector, weightage marks do not play an important role in the process of selection.
