The much awaited CTET notification has been released on 12th June, 2018 on the official website of CTET. Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) will be conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on 16th September, 2018 for Lower Primary and Upper Primary Teacher vacancies.

Here is a latest overview of all the important events that an aspirant need to keep track of for CTET, 2018. CTET Exam will held on 16th September, 2018 in two shifts divided into two papers, Paper-1 and Paper-2.

How to Apply in CTET 2018?

Check the following steps on how to fill the CTET application form 2018 correctly.

  • Go to the official website of CTET, i.e. www.ctet.nic.in
  • Register for CTET, 2018 by filling your personal details.
  • After this, the application form will appear on the screen with all the instructions.
  • Candidates are advised to read these guidelines carefully.
  • Fill the form by filling your details in capital letters like, your name, mother’s name, father’s name and date of birth.
  • Choose the exam center and the medium of language you want to take the exam in.
  • Fill your gender, caste category and educational qualification details.
  • After this, upload your scanned photograph and photograph.
  • Click on the ‘Payment Fee’, and pay the fee through debit/ credit cards or e-Challan.
  • Click on the ‘Submit’ button.
  • Take a printout of the filled application form for future purposes.

CTET Application Form 2018 | Eligibility Criteria

There are certain conditions which are supposed to be fulfilled by aspirants in order to be eligible for the CTET exam 2018.

Age Limit Criteria

The minimum age for the candidates should be 18 years old. Any aspirant younger than 18 years would not be allowed for the exam. There is no restriction in the area of maximum age limit.

Educational Qualification

Category Qualification
From class I-V Candidate must have completed 12th with the minimum score of 50% or should have cleared/ appeared in the final year diploma in elementary education.
From class VI-VIII Graduation degree with appearing in final year exam of (2 year) diploma elementary education.

CTET Application Form 2018 | Exam Pattern

CTET Paper-1 is mandatory for the aspirants who are interested in teaching from Class I to Class V. Whereas, aspirants willing to become a teacher for Grade VI-VIII are required to take CTET Paper-2.
