The most awaited Air Force AFCAT 2018 Application Form link is out! AFCAT Recruitment Notification 2018 has been released for the candidates who are interested in joining the Indian Air Force as commissioned officers for Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) Branches. They can apply for the courses that will be starting in July 2019 for grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) in Flying Branch and Permanent Commission (PC)/ Short Service Commission (SSC) in Ground Duty (Technical) and Ground Duty (Non- Technical) Branches. The online application for AFCAT has begun on 16th June, 2018 and last date to apply online is 15th July, 2018.

AFCAT 2018 Eligibility Criteria (Age Limit)
Flying Branch :- Candidates must have been born between 02 July 1995 to 01 July 1999. They must age at least 20 years old and should not exceed 24 years old.
Candidates having authorized Commercial Pilot Licence
|Upper Age Limit||26 years (born between 02 July 1993 to 01 July 1999)|
- Ground Duty (Technical/ Non-Technical) Branches:- Candidates must have been born between 02 July 1993 to 01 July 1999. They must age at least 20 years old and should not exceed 26 years old.
AFCAT 2018 Exam Pattern
- The exam will be an online based exam with multiple choice questions.The time duration of this exam would be 2 hours with main subjects as verbal ability, numerical ability, reasoning, general awareness and military aptitude.
- Candidates interested in Ground Duty (Technical) Branch would have to take two exams AFCAT and EKT. Engineering Knowledge Test (EKT) would of 45 minutes, conducted immediately after AFCAT.
AFCAT 2018 Selection Process
In order to get the job in Air Force, candidates would have to go through these three stages:-

- SSB Interview
- Medical Examination
